26218 - JeffcoNet Infrastructure Maintenance, Repair, and Expansion (E-RATE)

The District is seeking proposals from qualified companies for operations and maintenance of the District’s owned cooperatively shared fiber network JeffcoNet. When completed the District will own nearly 250 miles of conduit.

The purpose of this solicitation is to enter into a maintenance agreement with a company for the maintenance of the JeffcoNet conduit and fiber systems from the school’s MDFs over all external pathways to the individual District owned and operated data centers. Maintenance would include but is not limited to the repair of conduit and/or fiber should any form of disruption or damage occur. The operational aspect of the proposal would include but not limited to assisting in 811 locate requests and providing path data and construction specifics to third parties should the need arise.

The District will manage all data transport and network operations carried by and associated with the JeffcoNet physical network.
