Description

The District owns/cooperatively shares a fiber network called JeffcoNet. With this RFP, the District seeks responses from qualified vendors for the operations and maintenance of JeffcoNet.

Maintenance includes, but is not limited to, the repair of conduit and/or fiber should any form of disruption or damage occur. The operational aspect includes, but is not limited to, assisting in 811 locate requests and providing engineering for path data and construction specifics to third parties should the need arise.

The services and goods associated with this RFP apply exclusively to the JeffcoNet physical network. To summarize, the District seeks maintenance of the outside plant only. 100% of the JeffcoNet infrastructure is buried conduit. Fiber within the conduit will have varied strand counts.

The District’s intention is to enter into a one-year agreement, with four optional one-year renewals.
