Summary of Specifications:
Through this Request for Proposal process, the District desires to contract with a qualified Vendor to securely transport deposits to our Bank from central administration offices as well as each site (156) on a weekly basis.
Proposed schedule for pick-ups are detailed in Appendix C. Specific locations for pick-up are outlined in Appendix D. In addition, the District may use the Vendor to transport petty cash from the Bank to Central Administration, and/or individual school locations. The District will provide one to ten sealed bags per pick-up within five minutes of request of pick-up made within scheduled time window for pick-up. The value of each pick-up will be less than $40,000 except checks and cash may be valued up to $15,000,000 from the Education Services Center’s cashier and checks may be valued up to $100,000 from high schools’ registration at the beginning of each semester. The Proposer should comment on the following requirements:
1. The ability to pick up deposits from the schools and departments on Tuesdays thru Thursdays between 9:00am to 2:30pm (holidays excluded). 2. The ability to distribute petty cash from the bank, central office, or site to individual schools as part of the run schedule described above. The petty cash due to Central Administration and/or each school will be non-standard in frequency and amount. Pricing for individual and multiple sites is requested and should be noted in Appendix E – Service Charges.
