Summary of Specifications:
Huerfano County is seeking proposals from qualified wildfire mitigation contractors for the implementation and successful completion, per project standards, of portions of the Cuchara Area Wildfire Mitigation Project. This project involves the removal of previously marked trees & shrubs, clearing of underbrush, and processing of slash and/or trunk wood. All work sites will be within 100ft of residential structures. Characteristics of each work site can vary greatly with regard to forest type, tree density, and accessibility. Effective treatment methods may vary, but will be evaluated for suitability to this project.
