CD-22-2 - Building Department Plan Review and Inspection Services

The County of Gilpin is soliciting proposals from qualified professionals and firms to act as the County’s Building Official and provide building inspection services as described herein. Gilpin County is located approximately 35 miles west of Denver with a direct connection I-70 via the Central City Parkway. The County was established in 1861, and has an estimated population of 5,873. The value of all building permits issued by the Department of Community Development was $17,159,464 in 2021 and $26,515,297 so far in 2022. Responders to the RFP can propose their own fee or pricing structure for the contract. The County intends to award the contract for one year with the option to renew annually. A copy of the current fee schedule for building permits issued by the Department is attached to this RFP.
