Summary of Specifications:
The Garfield County Board of County Commissioners is pleased to extend this invitation to prospective bidders to perform baseline water quality studies in the Mamm Creek Field Area in Garfield County, Colorado. The primary objective of this work is to identify domestic water wells or springs within the study area where water quality analyses indicate that the drinking water may not meet State or Federal primary or secondary drinking water standards, or have excessive methane or sodium chloride concentrations. Completion of these investigations will confirm the locations where water quality standards are exceeded and allow State and County officials to notify affected well owners as appropriate, and analyze the status of gas wells near water wells of concern. These studies are a continuation of the Phase I Hydrogeologic Characterization study completed in March, 2006
