The College assumes that design will start in January and that a GMP will be provided based off the 100% Design Development Package.  The College also assumes that long lead dental equipment and mechanical equipment will be identified by the Design Builder early in the project, and that an early release bid package will be prepared to procure that equipment concurrent with the delivery of the GMP.   The College assumes that the second bid package will be issued in May 2023 for the remaining cost of work, permit and the start of construction in June 2023.  Depending on the availability of dental equipment and mechanical equipment, the College assumes that major construction activities will end in August 2023 and the installation of dental equipment will occur in September and October 2023.  FRCC anticipates substantial completion by the end of October 2023 with complete use of the space by November 2023.   The construction schedule is tentative until we have selected the design-builder. The Design-Builder is responsible for assembling a complete team including a highly qualified Dental Designer to assist the Architect/Engineers, work with FRCC staff and select dental equipment for this project. Front Range Community College intends to select a Design/Build Entity who will design, manage and construct the project as described within.
