Description

The objective of these specifications is to provide an irrigation system, which will effectively irrigate all areas to be covered and shall be installed in a professional, workmanlike manner. The specifications, design details, and irrigation drawings are to be considered part of the Contract and the Contractor shall follow the specifications with due perseverance. The work contemplated by the specifications consists of the provisions of labor, material, equipment and services required for all work as described herein. Unless otherwise specified, the plans and specifications are intended to include everything obviously prerequisite and necessary for the proper installation and completion of the work whether each necessary item is mentioned herein or not.

Event Note

A Pre‑Bid conference will be conducted by Owner and Luarca Rodgers Design Group September 21, 2021 at 10:00 am at the golf course. Representatives of Owner and Luarca Rodgers Design Group will be present to answer questions. Any questions which, in the opinion of the Luarca Rodgers Design Group, cannot be answered by direct reference to the Bidding Documents will be answered by formal written Addenda.
The Pre‑Bid conference will include a tour of the site of the Work, conducted by representatives of Owner and Luarca Rodgers Design Group. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Bids shall be submitted October 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District Administration office located at 660 Community Dr., Estes Park, CO 80517 and shall be included in an opaque, sealed envelope addressed to Estes Valley Recreation and Park District and identified on the outside with the Bidder's name and address and with the words "Bid for Estes Park 18 Hole Golf Course Irrigation Renovation and Installation".

Each Bid shall be accompanied by the Bid Security and other required documents.

If the Bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the face thereof.

Bids shall be deposited in the designated location prior to the time and date for receipt of Bids indicated in the Invitation to Bid, or the modified time and date indicated by addendum. Bids received after the time and date for receipt of Bids will be returned unopened. Bidder shall assume full responsibility for timely delivery at the location designated for receipt of Bids.

Oral, telephone, or telegraph Bids are invalid and will not receive consideration. No Bidder may submit more than one Bid. Multiple Bids under different names will not be accepted from one firm or association.
