El Paso County Department of Public Works (County) is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced professional engineering firms to provide Traffic Engineering & Transportation Planning Activities (Work) for the South Powers Extension Study Project (Project). The Project is being funded through the following sources: CDOT Multimodal Transportation Options Funds (MMOF) & CDOT Region Priority Program (RPP) funds (CDOT Project No. MTF C040-068; 24046), and El Paso County.
There shall be State (CDOT) and El Paso County oversight of the project. There is a 0% DBE goal associated with design of this project.
The County of El Paso, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it shall affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) shall be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and shall not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
The services requested in this RFP primarily include project coordination, project management, and conceptual and preliminary design, preliminary engineering, final design, property acquisition and/or engineering support prior to and during the construction phase.
