2023-002 - Horticultural Services for 16th Street Landscape Design and Maintenance

The Downtown Denver Business Improvement District is pleased to invite you to submit a proposal in response to this Request for Proposals (“RFP”). DDBID is seeking a trusted partner to deliver high quality horticultural installations and maintenance on 16th Street. The Services to be performed are outlined below. Respondents are required to submit firm qualification, a completed information form, quality control, execution, and maintenance plans, proposed plant palette, a budget, and other applicable information set forth in this RFP. A committee will evaluate all submissions. Based on responses to this RFP and the selection criteria listed herein, DDBID will select a Contractor to provide the services. The final acceptance of any successful proposal shall be subject to, and contingent upon, the negotiation between the parties. DDBID reserves the right, at its discretion, to postpone the date for proposal submission and contract execution. In the event of a postponement, respondents will be notified by email to the email address provided in the submission.  Finalists may be invited to an interview with the selection committee. The interviews are scheduled to be conducted the week of February 5, 2024.

Scope of Services

1. Plant palette design.
2. Purchasing soil and plant material.
3. Preparation of Planters (installation of plant material & soil).
4. Maintenance, including but not limited to, watering, dead heading, removal of dead plant material, replacement of plant material, debris cleanup, pest and disease control, and fertilization treatments, as needed.
