The Downtown Denver Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP), is committed to ensuring Downtown Denver is clean, safe, and welcoming for all. Collaborating with the private and public sectors, we implement the Downtown Security Action Plan, which includes overseeing a team of private security officers to greet downtown patrons and patrol the BID, a 120-block district in the heart of Downtown Denver.
The attached Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to find a qualified contractor to provide uniformed security for the BID and throughout downtown’s public realm. As outlined in the RFP, the selected contractor will supplement the work of the Denver Police Department and serve as a close partner to the BID and our downtown stakeholders, working to ensure the physical safety of district residents, workers, and visitors, as well as, create an inviting and friendly environment for all patrons.
