The Department of Facilities, Fleet & Emergency Support Services of Douglas County Government, hereinafter referred to as the County, respectfully requests Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from responsible and qualified individuals/firms to assist the County, on an as-needed basis, with professional Architectural Services for various County projects. Individual projects/services will be discussed, negotiated, and issued as required throughout the 2023 calendar year.
The goal of the County, through this RFQ, is to assemble a list of several qualified individuals/firms that can be utilized, as needed. The agreement(s) with the individuals/firms, as a result of this RFQ, shall be considered Blanket Purchase Agreements. The Blanket Purchase Agreement authorizes, but does not obligate, the County to utilize any minimum or maximum, dollar amount or quantity of services from any specific individual or firm.
The initial agreement, issued as a result of this RFQ, will be for a period of approximately one (1) year, beginning in January 2023 to and including December 31, 2023. All proposed fees shall be firm and fixed for the initial contract period. The County shall have an option to renew this agreement for four (4) additional periods of one (1) year each, with the same terms and conditions. This agreement and/or extension to the original period of a subject agreement shall be contingent upon annual funding being appropriated, budgeted and otherwise made available for such purposes and subject to the County’s unanimous satisfaction with the services received during the preceding agreement period.
