RFP-15764A - Treatment Plant Wireless LAN Project

Summary of Specifications:
Denver Water has approved the Treatment Plant Wireless LAN Project to provide wireless network connectivity throughout each of the four Water Treatment Plants. This connectivity will give technicians the ability to communicate with each other via text, voice, and video, as well as with the rest of the organization. This will also provide wireless access to monitor critical systems. 

Treatment Plant Wireless LAN Project includes performing a site survey with spectrum analysis at each Treatment Plant to determine the number and location of all Wireless Access Point (WAP’s) necessary to provide service throughout the Plant. Once the survey is complete the Proposer will provide a project plan for each site that will include the installation of the WAP’s and any associated hardware, including cabling to the nearest network switch. The wireless hardware must be compatible with the existing Cisco Wireless LAN Controller infrastructure. Upon completion of implementation, the Proposer will perform testing of the system and provide turnover documentation to Denver Water.
