The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for actuarial, consulting and broker services to: 1) assist Denver Water with evaluating, selecting, awarding and managing providers for our self-funded and fully-insured employee benefit plans and Wellness Program, 2) act as the actuary for benefit and pension plan rates and plans designs, and 3) conduct a biennial market analysis on pay and benefits (Total Rewards) and to deliver a final report of the findings to staff, the Executive Team and the Board. Under this agreement all products are to be provided to Denver Water on a net of commission basis. All consulting costs are to be paid through a fee-only arrangement. All bidders must agree not to accept any commission, fees, or any revenue sharing from insurance providers or other professional services.
