2023-RFP-01 - Street Lights

The lighting project will be focused on Graff Road.  The purpose of the lighting is to discourage criminal elements in the area and increase visibility for Law Enforcement.  The individual lighting sources will have to be tied into existing residential power supplies for each individual residence where lighting has been approved for installation.  The lighting to be install will be for LED lighting on individual poles to be set on the individual property of the residents.  Some of the residential installations may require underground trenching from the light pole to the residence.  All installations are required to meet State of Colorado electrical code and inspections.  There are also certain locations which will require a solar LED light and pole where no electrical service is available.  Anticipating a total of nine (9) installations connected to private residential power supply and five (5) installations for solar lighting where no electrical service is available.  All lighting fixtures are to be hooded and for outdoor use and the solar lighting will have to include photocell sensing to activate dusk to dawn. All fixtures need to be serviceable, meaning solar panels can be replaced and the LED lighting can be replaced.  Examples of the lighting fixture(s) shall be submitted with the bid.
