RFA (RFP) KAPP 2024000182 - BuildUp Grant

In May of 2023, the Colorado Legislature passed House Bill 23-1246, to support In-Demand Career Workforce. The goal of the $1,218,964 grant program is to increase access to existing Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) in the Building and Construction Trades by providing training at no cost to new apprentices. 
Apprenticeship Colorado is the State Apprenticeship Agency (SAA) housed within the Office of the Future of Work (OFW) at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE). The SAA is recognized by the US Department of Labor (USDOL) Office of Apprenticeship to act on behalf of the federal USDOL to register and oversee programs in their recognized state. 
Apprenticeship Colorado seeks applications from Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) in the Building and Construction Trades interested in increasing access for target populations by providing training at no cost to new apprentices.
Entities that are eligible to apply for the BuildUp Grant include single or group of organizations with a documented association (Sponsor, Employer, Related Instruction Provider) with an existing Registered Apprenticeship Program that meets specific criteria.
