DQ-2022-186-AB - Optical Reference Cavity for Yb+ Clock

Our research group is focused on ion trapping experiments that require low-noise laser systems for laser cooling, detection, quantum manipulation, and high-resolution laser spectroscopy applications with trapped ions. To this end, we require an ultrastable two-color Fabry-Perot reference cavity for use in simultaneously stabilizing the frequencies of 871 and 934 nm lasers that will act as clock lasers for operations with Yb+ ions.
