The Facilities Management Department at CSU is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings, utility infrastructure and grounds for the four major campuses located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Facilities Management employs 500 personnel consisting of accountants, customer service technicians, custodians, engineers, information system technicians, designers, project managers, groundskeepers and skilled tradesmen. It is the goal of all units to provide outstanding customer service through our expertise in Facilities Management. Whether it is collaboration with internal units or with other University departments, Facilities Management employees strive to be good stewards of the buildings and grounds that make up Colorado State University.
In a typical year, CSU receives and processes approximately 25,000 work requests ranging in scope from small scale service calls to large scale, multi-million dollar projects. The average material, labor, and contract expenses incurred and billed for these services exceed $26 million annually.
This project will replace the current space, work order management, project management and warehouse management software (FAMIS). The current software was purchased ten (10) years ago and has not kept up with the latest technologies.
