The Advanced Beam Laboratory (ABL) at Colorado State University intends to purchase a a custom ultra-high power hollow-core fiber (HCF) system comprising an up to 4m long, high power HCF from few-cycle, inc. as a sole source procurement to compress pulses from a chirped pulse amplification laser down to single cycle. The single cycle pulses in turn are needed to study the physics of ultrahigh intensity laser interaction with nanostructures in a new regime.
