Description

The Atmospheric Science Department at Colorado State University (CSU) intends to purchase a Aerodynamic Particle Sizer (APS) from TSI, Inc. via sole source procurement. The Aerodynamic Particle Sizer (APS) will be used for NSF-funded supplemental work conducting innovative laboratory experiments to address key questions for our COVID-delayed fieldwork. The APS is one of the only reliable particle sizing devices in the 0. to 20-micron size range that is needed to measure the typical sizes of microbial and sea spray aerosol that our focused laboratory and fieldwork studies are targeting.
