RFP-KV-159271 - URP-0001 Construction Manager/General Contactor Service for Electric Service Lin

The Colorado Springs Utilities Utility Reliability Program (URP) aims to collaboratively address improvements to existing infrastructure for all four utility services (Electric, Gas, Water, Wastewater) within a specific project boundary under one project. This approach minimizes the duration of construction and provides efficiencies and collaboration that would not typically be possible if all four services were upgraded under individual and separate projects. This Project is a piece of the overall URP-0001 and is specific to undergrounding the Rate Payer electric services.
The Contract will be issued for a five (5) year duration, Work shall be authorized with Task Orders.

The first Task Order consists of the electric service component of URP-0001 will require the undergrounding, reconnecting, and possible upsizing of 30 commercial and or residential electric services that are currently served by overhead electric secondary/service lines (or a combination of overhead to underground electric secondary/service lines). The Project is in Downtown Colorado Springs in the alley between Weber Street to the west and Wahsatch Avenue to the east with sections in Pueblo Ave. (diagonal). The Project is bounded to the north by E Costilla Street and to the south by Rio Grande Street.  With a segment that runs from Wahsatch on the east, along Rio Grande street west to S Sierra Madre Street.
