000523-Aug2023 - Birdsall 02 Cooling Tower Upgrade and Replacement Invitiation to Bid

1.1.    Colorado Springs Utilities (“Utilities”) is requesting proposals/bids from qualified Respondents/Bidders with demonstrated experience in commercial mechanical system upgrades and replacements, shutdowns, and construction of this type of work in occupied buildings that need to remain operational.  The selected Respondent/Bidder (“Contractor”) will perform the work described in this Exhibit A.  

1. 1. The cooling towers at the Birdsall 02 facility, SECC, need replacement. Upgrading the cooling towers is required to mitigate an unplanned or catastrophic failure to the facility. This upgrade will help to ensure the reliability and functionality of the building’s HVAC system.
