CMC’s 3 residential Campuses located at Glenwood Springs, Leadville, and Steamboat Springs, CO are requesting quotes from qualified firms and/or individuals for 3 vSAN ReadyNode Servers and VMware licensing. All professional services including installation, migration, and ongoing management will be handled by CMC IT personnel.
Requirements:
• Two (2) vSAN ReadyNode servers per location for three (3) locations
o Six (6) physical servers
o Current generation server processors, at least 12 cores per server
o At least 96GB RAM per server
o Hybrid storage
At least 40TB usable storage per two-node cluster
Appropriately sized SSD/flash storage
o Redundant M.2 storage for ESXi 7.0 operating system
o At least 25% storage growth potential without adding additional servers
o At least four (4) 10GbE SFP+ interfaces per server
o At least two (2) 1GbE copper interfaces per server
o Redundant 100/200V power supplies per server
• Reuse existing VMware vSphere Standard licensing
o One vSphere Standard license per physical server
• VMware vSAN 7 Standard licensing for three (3) two-node clusters
o Academic vSAN Standard licensing
o One (1) year Academic Production Support
• Physical and electronic delivery must occur before June 30th, 2021

All bids must be submitted on provided bid sheet in Excel format, if applicable, to BidNet no later than the due date specified in the timeline.
It is our preference to award to one vendor that can deliver all requested products. CMC will accept products that are compatible with our existing system, and are equivalent to or better than the specifications in this RFQ document.
