CMC’s Ski Area Operations (SAO) program at our Leadville Campus, 901 S. Hwy. 24, Leadville, CO is seeking to replace our 1993 Bombardier BR 400 snow groomer with a more modern vehicle. Our students need the opportunity to operate a quality snow grooming vehicle similar to that which they will drive once employed as graduates of the SAO. The college will consider new and used bids (for a product in good working condition having fewer than 10,000 hours), and will consider any alternate make or model as long as the quality is equivalent to or better than one or both of the machines specified above. CMC is the sole and final authority on the determination of whether a product meets the quality standard specified.
Our Bombardier BR 400 Plus model year 1993 with approximately 6,600 hours is available as a trade-in or for purchase at your discretion. If you would like to acquire this vehicle you may specify a value for consideration. Any contractor purchasing this vehicle will be expected to pick it up at our Leadville location. We are asking for a trade-in value on an as-is, sight unseen basis. For purposes of this RFQ you may assume the vehicle is in working condition with fair to good track belting.
