Situated in Grand Junction, CO, Colorado Mesa University’s 160-acre main campus spans the distance from 7th Street on the west, North Avenue on the south to Orchard Avenue on the north. University buildings extend east of 12th Street including the Foundation office, Rotary Hall, and Facilities Services, and north of Orchard Avenue with student housing, the Student Wellness Center, Health Sciences Building, and Band Building. The University incorporates additional facilities including the Forensic Investigation Research Campus in Whitewater, CO, the Lineman Program located at 29 & D Road Campus, CMU Tech at the Bishop Campus and the Montrose Campus in Montrose, CO. All total, the University encompasses over 80 buildings with a total square footage of 2.75M including on-campus housing for 3,200 students. The University has undergone significant expansion beginning in 2006 and continuing to current with a new student apartment complex, Wingate Apartments, nearing completion in November 2023 and a world class performing arts complex projected for completion in fourth quarter 2024.
The University’s Custodial team is tasked with the upkeep of each of the buildings and relies on the timely fulfilment of the variety of products required to maintain the facilities to a “like new” result. The purpose of this Request for Proposal “RFP” is to select the vendor partner to provide custodial products, supplies, and services to effectively support a commercial, enterprise account the size of the University’s.
