Description

It is the intent of this specification to describe The Intent of this scope is to replace frame rail(s) on CDOT trucks. Due to the harsh environments our trucks are in the double frame configuration is becoming increasingly full of rust which is “rust jacking” the frame to point of failure. The frame rails are cracking along the length, both top and bottom at various points where the stress exceeds the tensile strength. We are seeking Full Replacement for these rails. Partial replacement, i.e. stubs, repaired, and/or sleeved frames rails will not be accepted!
