Notice is hereby given that the Clear Creek County Public Works Division – Road & Bridge Department is requesting bids for the 2023 Crack Sealing Program which includes approximately 23,000 pounds of crack sealing at various locations throughout the County. Locations of the work to be done are summarized below:

County Roads (approx. 18 to 24 ft wide) – Approx. 20 miles
1. Mill Creek Road – 2.52 miles (County Rd. 308 to end of pavement)
2. Beaver Brook Canyon Rd. – 1 mile (Homestead Rd. to end of pavement)
3. Meadow View Drive – 0.6 miles (Hyland Dr. to end of pavement)
4. Hyland Drive – 0.2 miles (Saddleback Dr. to Ponderosa Dr.)
5. Ponderosa Drive – 1 mile (Hyland Dr. to Hy-Vu Dr.)
6. Elk Valley Dr. - 0.4 miles (Saddleback Dr. to end pavement)
7. Clear Creek Rd. – 0.8 miles (Elk Valley Dr. to end of pavement)
8. Aspen Dr. – 0.06 miles (Ponderosa Dr. to end of pavement)
9. Sinton Road – 1.4 miles (Squaw Pass Rd. to Lodgepole Dr.)
10. Witter Gulch Road – 4.66 miles (Upper Bear Creek Rd. to Squaw Pass Rd.)
11. Circle K Ranch Road – 0.4 miles (Witter Gulch Rd. to King Murphy Elementary School)
12. Stagecoach Blvd. – 1.5 miles (County line to Witter Gulch Rd.)
13. Greystone Road – 0.9 miles (Stagecoach Blvd. to Witter Gulch Rd.)
14. Upper Bear Creek Road – 1.6 miles (Witter Gulch Rd. to Yankee Creek Rd.)
15. Golden Willow Road – 0.4 miles (Upper Bear Creek Rd. to Park Dr.)

Additional Bidding Instructions

With each copy of the Bidding Documents, a Bidder is furnished one separate unbound copy of the Bid Form, and Bid Bond. The unbound copy of the Bid Form is to be completed and submitted with the Bid security and the following documents:
1. 1. Section 00101 – Statement of Bidder’s Qualifications.

One (1) original Bid Form shall be submitted no later than the date and time prescribed and at the place indicated in the Request for Bids and shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the Project title (and, if applicable, the designated portion of the Project for which the Bid is submitted), including the Bid security and other required documents. If a Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation “PW 23-01 Roadway Crack Sealing” - BID ENCLOSED. A mailed Bid shall be addressed to the Public Works Division Director, Clear Creek County Public Works Division, P.O. Box 362, 3549 Stanley Road (CR 312), Dumont Colorado 80436. Faxed and e-mailed bids are not acceptable.
