Notice is hereby given that the Clear Creek County Public Works Division - Road & Bridge Department is requesting bids for the 2023 Pavement Marking Project which includes repainting centerline stripes, edge line stripes, stop bars, turn lane lines, and turn arrows on approximately 20.5 miles of roadway throughout the County. Locations and brief descriptions of the work are summarized below.
County Roads – Approx. 20.5 miles

Alvarado Road (Georgetown city limit to County Rd. 308)
1. Repaint 20,381 LF of double yellow center line and 40,762 LF of white edge line.
2. Repaint 4 stop bars
3. Repaint 1 left turn arrow
4. Repaint 20 LF of 8-inch white turn lane line
Stanley Road (W. Dumont Rd.to I70 east bound off ramp)
1. Repaint 21,120 LF of double yellow center line and 42,240 LF of white edge line.
2. Repaint 2 stop bars.
Fall River Road (Area to be designated by R&B Dept. Rep.)
1. Repaint 5,280 LF of double yellow center line and 10,560 LF of white edge line.
2. Repaint 1 stop bar
Highway 103 (County line to Squaw Mountain Tr.)
1. Repaint 36,960 LF of double yellow center line and 73,920 LF of white edge line.
Witter Gulch Road (Squaw Pass Rd. to Upper Bear Creek Rd.)
1. Repaint 24,605 LF of double yellow center line and 49,210 LF of white edge line.
2. Repaint 2 stop bars.

With each copy of the Bidding Documents, a Bidder is furnished one separate unbound copy of the Bid Form, and Bid Bond. The unbound copy of the Bid Form is to be completed and submitted with the Bid security and the following documents:

One (1) original Bid Form shall be submitted no later than the date and time prescribed and at the place indicated in the Request for Bids and shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the Project title (and, if applicable, the designated portion of the Project for which the Bid is submitted), including the Bid security and other required documents. If a Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation “PW 23-02 Pavement Marking Project” - BID ENCLOSED. A mailed Bid shall be addressed to the Public Works Division Director, Clear Creek County Public Works Division, P.O. Box 362, 3549 Stanley Road (CR 312), Dumont Colorado 80436. Faxed and e-mailed bids are not acceptable.
