RFP-25-24-ACRD - City of Lafayette: Arapaho Center Theatre Design Services - Historical Building

The City of Lafayette, CO seeks comprehensive design services for the renovation and expansion of the historic Arapahoe Theatre, a culturally significant venue housed within a historic church structure in Lafayette’s old town district and listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places.

Scope includes interior renovation of existing 1550 square feet, a new 800 square foot addition with basement storage area, expansion of the lobby, two new ADA single-use restrooms, a ticketing and concession counter, a combined light and sound vestibule, an updated dressing area, additional storage, and creation of a small multi-use outdoor performance space.

Final designs must be construction-ready and fully compliant with historic preservation standards, ADA requirements, and National Register designation criteria.
