22-15 - Ohio Avenue Multimodal and Safe Routes to School Project

Project is the construction on 6 city blocks of the following:
    An 8.5-foot ADA compliant, concrete sidewalk with ADA ramps.
    An 8-foot wide, two lane, asphalt cycle track for non-motorized traffic.
    A 4-foot physical and geographical barrier between vehicular traffic and non-motorized travel.
    Small landscape inserts located on the traffic barrier.
    Landscaping irrigation pipe and plantings.
    Painted crosswalks at intersections and flashing beacon signals at Colorado Street and at Main Street (Hwy 135).
    Storm drain improvements.
    Concrete Pavement and Curb & Gutter.
    One concrete amenity pad per block to include a bench, trash receptacle, pedestrian lighting.
    Bollard and pedestrian scaled light fixtures to enhance visibility and safety.
