The City of Gunnison is requesting qualified engineering consultants to respond to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Water Treatment and infrastructure design. This design will be used in the construction of the Water Treatment Plant and infrastructure upgrades and must comply with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment requirements for its Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan program, the Colorado Department of Local Affairs and the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Loan and Grant Program.
You are invited to submit sealed proposals, clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “2022 CITY OF GUNNISON WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES” to the City of Gunnison Public Works Department, Attention: Mike Rogers, 1100 West Virginia Avenue, Gunnison, Colorado 81230 no later than 3:30 P.M. on September 16, 2022. At 3:30 p.m. on September 16, 2022, qualifications will be publicly opened and read aloud for completeness. The City’s selection committee will review and rank the highest qualified firms. After short listing and interviews are completed, a final scope, schedule and fee will be negotiated with the firm that is determined to be in the best overall interest of the City of Gunnison. The City of Gunnison reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this solicitation and to waive any irregularities.
