The City Council of the City of Cañon City, Colorado, by and through its Finance & IT Departments
(collectively referred to herein as "the City"), is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to gather
proposals for a Community Development software system to serve as a core business application for
all Building, Planning & Zoning, Licensing, Permitting, and Code Enforcement functions. The City is
also requesting information for the possible integration of other municipal systems including but not
limited to ESRI GIS, Single-Sign On through Active Directory, and a potential external payment
processor as part of the overall system. This RFP also requests proposals include implementation of
the software system. The City is requesting that existing data is converted from its legacy system to
the proposed Community Development software system.
