Description

**Please note: Construction plans will be issued in Addendum No. 1.

47th and Telluride Park is a new 13.2-acre park to be built on a 19-acre plot of native land located in Denver’s Gateway neighborhood, adjacent to KIPP Northeast School. The remaining 6.8 acres of land are maintained by Mile High Flood District and Town Center Metro District with the Derby Canal across this area. The project follows a Master Plan, dated June 2022. Per the Master Plan, the park includes a playground, community garden, multi-use lawn area, picnic areas, pavilion, habitat garden, basketball court, interactive water features, unpaved 'Discovery Path' along the Derby Canal, and new irrigation and landscape improvements. Landscape maintenance is required for a period following construction as outlined within the Project Specifications. Communication and coordination with the active neighborhood and with the adjacent school will be fundamental to the community, so as not to interrupt school operations (specifically daily drop off and pick up of students) and the success of the project.

Bids will be received and accepted via the online electronic bid service, Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing (“BidNet”). Bids must be submitted via BidNet no later than Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list on BidNet for bids to be accepted. To access the electronic bid form, download the required documents from BidNet and complete the Unit Item Pricing in the Documents & Items section of the solicitation. All properly uploaded bids will then be opened, witnessed, and read aloud.
