23-0137 - Sustainability Action Plan

The purpose of this project is to complete a comprehensive update of the City’s existing Sustainability Action Plan. This update is essential in advancing the City’s sustainability goals and the Plan will serve as an important guiding document for the City’s sustainability efforts that can be used to: 

1. Demonstrate the City’s commitment to sustainability; 
2. Highlight the City’s sustainability initiatives; 
3. Support funding requests and alignment with other city initiatives; 
4. Provide an actionable and equitable blueprint for sustainability goals, targets, and policy initiatives within the next 5 years; and
5. Educate and inform the community.
