RFP-14-20 - On-Call Building inspection Services

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking to contract with a primary and a secondary firm that provides building inspection services including but not limited to field inspections (not elevator) associated with the City's building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural and residential codes and to assume the functions and responsibilities of the Building Official in their absence. See Exhibit 1 for building valuation data. The start date is anticipated for September or October 2014. Term is for 1 year with 3 renewal options. This is a performance-based contract. Inspector qualifications must be current and certified to the City on an annual basis, as described in the RFP documents.
