ITB-15-01 - KIPLING MULTI-USE TRAIL

Summary of Specifications:
All labor, equipment, materials and supplies to connect and construct the missing segments of a 10 foot wide multi-use trail along the east side of Kipling Street from 32nd Ave. to 44th Ave., including installation of pedestrian lighting, benches, and trash cans along the trail, and placement of bike racks and a bike shelter. Approximate quantities include: 4,000 sq. yds. of concrete pavement and sidewalk, 47 LED pedestrian lights, a 160-ft. pedestrian bridge, and 950 sq. ft. of retaining wall. Cost range is $1.75 - 2.25 million. Anticipated start date is 4/16/15; City will allow a delayed start date of up to 90 days. Completion time is 175 working days. This is a federally funded project. UDBE is set at 12%. Davis-Bacon wage requirements apply. OTJ training goal is 320 hours.
