Summary of Specifications:
Rehabilitation of the bridge over Clear Creek on Marshall St. in Wheat Ridge includes replacing the existing expansion devices. The expansion deice in the middle of the bridge will be eliminated and the bridge expansion devices on each end of the bridge will be replaced. Two-way traffic will be maintained on the bridge at all times and the bridge cannot be closed. Approximates quantities include: 106 LF of bridge expansion device, 3100 LB of epoxy coated reinforcing steel, 140 SY of asphalt removal, 25 tons of asphalt. Cost range is $150,000-$180,000. Anticipated start date is mid-September.
