Thorncreek Golf Course is looking for one (1) universal truck-mounted unit for topdressing. Thornton’s current unit is eleven (11) years old and the accuracy of the current unit applications has decreased. The new unit will need to spread thin layers of sand over a grass surface, for the green, tees and approaches. Thornton also request that the unit have a smart controller that has the following capabilities:
- Multiple program presets for greens, tees and approaches as well as customization of how much spread is distributed for each preset.
- Ability to calculate how much material is needed by season and set different widths while keeping the same rate to reduce the number of passes and get a more consistent spread.
