The City of Pueblo is soliciting proposals from qualified Civil Engineers to assist the City with on-call services for Geotechnical Engineering. The City intends to issue contracts on an as-needed basis for maintenance and capital improvement projects to include preliminary investigation, permitting, design, bidding, construction management, inspection, and certification. For each on-call service request, the Consultant and the City will agree upon the specific scope of work and the associated support positions and man-hours for that project. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed under these agreements. Compensation will be based on time and materials (T&M) or fixed cost (depending on the complexity of the project). If the project is T&M, Consultant will provide a not-to-exceed limit agreed upon by both Consultant and City prior to the start of work. The work for each project under this Agreement will vary in scope and complexity. Proposer (this term used interchangeably with “Consultant”) is encouraged to demonstrate diversity of skills and abilities as they relate to Geotechnical Engineering. Services shall include all personnel, supervision, management, labor, tools, equipment, material, and travel, necessary to perform these services, with reimbursable expenses to be agreed upon prior to initiation of project.
