RFP-TB-11-085 - AVL-GPS System

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Pueblo is soliciting sealed competitive proposals for a comprehensive Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system that is able to provide an Automatic Voice Announcement System (AVAS) for Pueblo Transit buses as well as GPS tracking for City Fleet vehicles. The Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) system must integrate with the Automated Next Stop Announcement System (AVAS) to announce stops both visually and audibly; these announcements either visual or audible must be made in a manner that allows the passenger enough time to activate the stop request signal. The GPS system will provide real-time City vehicle locations as well as providing definable event monitoring and vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
