The City of Loveland has received federal highway funds to construct a new grade separated crossing of Namaqua Avenue. The project is located on Namaqua Avenue, between West Eisenhower Boulevard (Highway 34) and West 1st Street in Loveland, Colorado. The anticipated design shall be a pre-cast arched or square box culvert and span the existing 60 foot Larimer County Right of Way. Engineering for the associated roadway design, underpass, the trail from either side of the box culvert, and trail connections from either side of the road to the trail, shall be included with this project. If the city is unable to acquire trail easements from adjacent property owners, interim trail concepts may be requested that provide safe access across Namaqua Avenue until such easements can be secured.
