The primary goal of this RFP is to evaluate and enter into contracts with engineering firms that possess the extensive knowledge and experience in electrical utility engineering necessary to provide support to LPC on an “as-needed” and “not too exceed” basis on projects and efforts to be defined through individual Work Orders. This shall include services customarily provided by an “owner’s engineer” such as consulting, planning, designing, programming, testing, electrical system modeling/studies of the electric system, support on various City electrical projects, and generally to provide engineering support for LPC’s Electric Delivery Services and Engineering Divisions.
