425045 - Municipal Electric and Fiber Optic Line Locating

The City of Longmont Power & Communications (LPC) Division is seeking a formal response to this Request for Proposals (RFP). The Electric and Broadband Locates are to be priced with a fixed rate per locate for three years from the contract date.
When the Contractor finds that the dig area is free from any City-owned infrastructure, the Contractor will write a note on the sketch stating that the dig area is clear of any facilities belonging to the City.
Upon receiving a Request, the Contractor will perform the actual locate verification within two working days. Requirements from Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC) are a high-speed internet connection with the ability to install Dot.Net security system.
The Contractor shall provide and furnish, at its own cost and expense, all materials, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services necessary to provide services in strict accordance with the conditions and prices stated in the Contract and other documents; the Contractor shall complete all services required by the Contract.
