Description

The City of Longmont (The City) requests proposals for the purchase of a Customer Information System (CIS), a Meter Data Management System (MDMS), a Field Mobile Work Management System (FMWM), a Customer Web Self-Service System (CWSS) and related products and services as specified within the attached documents. This project will provide a foundation for replacing the currently outdated system with a cost-effective, functionally robust customer-focused communication and management application that will be The City’s utility customer system of record. Beyond its role as a critical accounting sub-ledger through which utility revenues flow, a new CIS solution will provide The City with new tools and processes that will lead to increased customer satisfaction and increased employee productivity and efficiency in supporting the customer experience.

Discovery Sessions are tentatively planned 11/30/2021 - 12/2/2021 and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Upon receipt of the RFP, any interested Proposer wishing to participate in a Discovery Session shall submit a Bid Intent in and email Attachment F, Intent to Respond Form to: valerie.scott@longmontcolorado.gov.

Each Proposer is highly encouraged to attend the Discovery Session to meet with The City which will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams for questions and answers. Each session may be 1.75 hours long. Proposers are strongly encouraged to prepare questions for the meeting.

THE DISCOVERY SESSIONS ARE NOT SIMPLY ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR A SALES CALL.  PROPOSERS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE READ THIS RFP AND BE FAMILIAR WITH THE CONTENTS IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL TO ENABLE THE PROSPECTIVE PROPOSER’S STAFF MEMBERS TO ASK PERTINENT QUESTIONS TO SUPPORT THEIR DEVELOPMENT OF AN RFP RESPONSE.
