RFP-25-024 - AGE FRIENDLY ACTION PLAN

The Malley Recreation Center (MRC) is seeking proposals from experienced professional consultants to conduct and facilitate research that will provide a comprehensive plan to enrich the lives of local older adults through expanded resources and services. The consultant will work with the MRC Senior Services Manager, Recreation Supervisors, City Management, current and potential local stakeholders, and the community to develop an action plan that provides a comprehensive expansion of necessary programs and services targeting the 55+ community in Englewood and its surrounding areas.

The plan will include comprehensive data analysis of MRC usage and visitor demographics, as well as an age breakdown and identification of older adult concentrations within the city of Englewood. It will incorporate community needs, identify opportunities for collaboration and expansion to meet the community's needs better, and align with the proposed Age-Friendly Action Plan. This comprehensive plan should specify proposed goals for the overall resource provision model, to include on-site resources, potential program expansion, and partnerships with local stakeholders. In addition, the comprehensive plan and recommendations will identify financial impacts of the proposed goals, objectives, and activities, and provide input on best practices to gather input via evaluation methods for the 55+ age range.
