Description

The City seeks a contractor with a reliable, experienced, and qualified history in sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt and storm sewer construction.
Work generally includes improvements to the streetscape along 25th Avenue from Sheridan St. to Benton St. including demolition of existing street, the installation of storm sewer, curb, gutter, ADA ramps, asphalt, stripping and signage, landscaping, and the placement of miscellaneous superficial objects. For use in conjunction with the 2022 Colorado Department of Highways Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, and the Standard Plans.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Please indicate firm bid amounts for performing the construction services detailed in this RFB. Price should include mobilization, all equipment costs, all labor costs and administrative costs. Edgewater staff will coordinate the waiver of permit costs, however, the contractor will still need to make application and submit all plans for permits.

Information to be Included/Submitted
Please include the following information in your proposal:
•Name of the person/ company who will oversee the project.
•Name of your professional liability and other insurance carriers and the insurance limits on each policy.
•Potential conflicts of interest that you or your firm may have in relation to the City of Edgewater.
•List of at least five (5) previous projects your firm has completed with an owner contact for each.
•Bid price. All items not specifically listed in the bid schedule shall be included in the total price. These items may include:
▪Materials
▪Labor and Equipment
▪Administration (Project Supervision, admin costs)
▪Materials testing – proof rolling, compaction, concrete testing

The City operates under applicable public disclosure laws. Proprietary information must be identified and will be protected to the extent that is legally possible. Costs of developing the proposal and attending any meetings relating to the proposal will not be reimbursed by the City.
