Description

Notice is hereby given that the City of Edgewater (“City”) is accepting proposals from
qualified bidders (“Bidders”) for a 2023 Landscape Maintenance Contract (“Contract”) at
various city owned properties from March 13th – October 31st, 2023.
The City will receive sealed bids for the 2023 Contract until Friday, February 24th , 2023, at
12:00 pm.
The specifications for the Landscape Maintenance Contract are listed in Exhibit A, and are
also available from the City Clerk’s Office, 1800 Harlan St, Edgewater, CO 80214 or on the
City’s website at www.playedgewaterco.com

Solicitation Process
Proposals will be opened on Friday, February 24th, at 1:00pm and considered based upon
pricing and how well they meet the specifications for award consideration.
Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, and provisions produced, manufactured,
or grown in Colorado, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the
State. Colorado labor shall be employed to perform the work for which bids are requested
herein to the extent of not less than eighty percent (80%) of each type or class of labor in
the several classifications of skilled and common labor employed on such work, pursuant to
C.R.S. § 8-17-101.
