RFI-CommunitySolarGarden13 - Community Solar Garden

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Durango is interested in participating in a Community Solar Garden (CSG), as defined in La Plata Electric Association, INC.’s Policy 366. As such, the City of Durango invites interested parties to reply with information regarding the development of a solar electric generation facility, which shall provide locally produced renewable energy to serve one or more of the city’s facilities within the LPEA service territory. The preferred facility output is one megawatt. The City anticipates to be the primary CSG shareholder. 

This is a non-binding Request for Information (RFI); any pricing that is provided is for information purposes only. 

The City is interested in the following proposed services: 

1. Design, construction, operation and management of a Community Solar Garden (CSG) over the life of the agreement. 

2. Project financing options in the form of a Power Purchasing Agreement (PPA).
