Summary of Specifications:
The City of Durango invites interested, qualified persons or firms, capable of providing the required service to submit bids for furnishing and applying chipseal oil and embedded washed chips at various locations throughout the City of Durango, as specified herein. The project areas are located within the City of Durango and encompass seven (7) City streets as described below, equaling approximately 34,500 square yards. The work consists of placing chip seal with emulsified asphalt and Type I (3/8”) chips. The City will supply street cleaning, traffic control, and labor to work behind the chip spreader. Also, in an effort to save money, the City will supply three 10-yard dump trucks, with drivers, for chip hauling. All other materials, equipment and operators are to be supplied by the contractor.
