Sealed bids for the Runway 3-21 Rehabilitation, to be constructed for City of Cortez, Colorado will be
received via BidNet until 1:00pm on May 1, 2025. Bids will be opened and read aloud at a virtual bid opening
at 1:30pm.
An Optional Pre-Bid Conference will be held on April 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cortez Municipal Airport,
22874 Road F, Cortez, CO 81321.
The Project consists of a mill and overlay of the existing runway and connector taxiway pavement.
In addition to the pavement rehabilitation, this project will include electrical improvements,
relocation of the windcone, installation of a new electrical vault, removal of the existing VASIs,
and the installation of new PAPIs.
Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid
Form.
All Bidders shall make good faith efforts, as defined by Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26, Regulations of the
Office of the Secretary of Transportation, to subcontract a minimum of 4.8% of the dollar value of the prime
contract to small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged
individuals DBE).
Bidders must be licensed to perform work within the state of Colorado.
